Adoption Social Worker (part-time)

Part-Time Adoption Social Worker for private, busy, non-profit adoption agency located in Cocoa Beach, FL. Must be highly organized, have good interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and at least two years of experience. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite a must.

Must be willing to work with both adoptive families and birth families. Duties will include completing adoptive home studies and social/medical histories, providing counseling services, writing and maintaining case files, filing reports, referrals to community agencies, participating in the legal process of adoption, and public speaking.  

Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling required. Former non-profit or adoption agency experience preferred.

Flexible hours 25-30 hours a week. Must be willing to work some weekends or evenings if necessary.

Salary range is $18- 20 an hour depending upon experience. This position does not include benefits.
